Christine & Michael Clark, your hosts, from London and Bordeaux respectively, spent many years pursuing their passion for food, wine and design as they traveled Europe. They met while both working at ‘The Ivy’ in London, then moved across the Atlantic and worked in Manhattan’s finest restaurants The Savoy, Aquagrill, Balthazar, The Red Cat.
Christine & Michael then packed-up a decade of metropolitan Manhattan experience, and in their European tradition, created a hybrid of world-class lodging in the bucolic Upstate New York gateway between the Hudson River and Catskill Mountains and opened THE CLARK HOUSE.
